On 27th of April 2018, in Tirana, was signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Office of Industrial Property of the Republic of Macedonia and the General Directorate of Industrial Property of the Republic of Albania.
For the State Office of Industrial Property, this Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the General Director, Mr. Safet Emruli and the General Directorate of Industrial Property by the General Director, Mr. Elvin Lako.
The signing of this Memorandum encourages mutual cooperation in order to promote, raise awareness and strengthen national industrial property systems in order to guarantee, protect and use industrial property rights.
The Memorandum of Understanding provides also specific areas of cooperation between the two institutions, with the aim of achieving objectives such as mutual exchange of experience, information and publications in the field of industrial property, raising awareness for the protection of industrial property for the public and its promotion, the staff training policy according to specialization programs or seminars.
