The State Office of Industrial Property of the Republic of Macedonia started an EU funded project “Technical Assistance for Development of a National Strategy on Industrial Property 2016-2018” under IPA TAIB 2011.
The specific objective of this assignment is to provide expertise in drafting of the “National Strategy on Industrial Property 2016-2018” whereas a relevant legislation shall be revised and all relevant institutions and stakeholders should be consulted.
The Strategy shall in particularly address the following critical areas of the industrial property system in the country: the national IP legislation; increasing the capacity of the SOIP towards its service orientation and the capacities of the law enforcement agencies for more efficient and up-to-date protection of the industrial property rights; improvement of the capacity of the local business community for generating and utilizing industrial property and last but not least raising the IP for Society.
