At the invitation of Prof. Dr. Hristina Spasevska, Vice Rector of UKIM, Director of the State Office of Industrial Property Goran Gerasimovski today for the first time held an online lecture for students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEEIT).
At the lecture, Gerasimovski introduced the students to the State Office of Industrial Property as an institution within the competencies, the processes it represents as well as the importance and benefits of patenting innovations and protection of industrial products.
Gerasomovski stressed that the goal of the State Office of Industrial Property is to encourage and support students and possibly future innovators in placing and protecting their products as well as to raise awareness of the need to protect innovation, trademark, industrial design, and geographical indications.
