The cooperation between the State Office for Industrial Property and the Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Macedonia continues. SOIP Director Goran Gerasimovski and Executive Director of NWM Drilon Iseni met today to specify future activities.
To raise public awareness of the protection of industrial property rights, experts from the State Office will visit chamber member companies. It will explain the benefits and procedures for trademark protection, as well as other industrial property rights. It is important to note that the protection of rights is the basis for the successful development of any business. Furthermore, businessmen will be informed about the possibilities for accessing and using international electronic databases.
As part of the current cooperation of these two bodies, workshops for the protection of industrial property rights were held in several cities in the northwestern region and 57 companies were visited.
