Representatives of the State Office of Industrial Property of the Republic of North Macedonia from 04.10 to 08.10 2021, participate in the 62nd General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) held in Geneva, Switzerland.
This assembly, which is held in conditions of restrictions due to Covid 19, is attended by almost all countries and it is held in a hybrid format.
The General Assembly was opened by Mr. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In his welcoming speech to the representatives of the member states, he emphasized two main goals of this organization, namely the promotion of the protection of intellectual property worldwide and ensuring cooperation between the intellectual property offices.
