The owner of an industrial design, or the applicant for grant of industrial design, may submit an application for international registration of industrial designs under the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs.

The procedure for international registration of industrial design in accordance with the provisions of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, is initiated by filing an application for international registration of industrial designs directly to the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization, based in Geneva.
